The body of the shark is painted in acrylics. The jaws and teeth are drawn with charcoal and colored chalk. Inspired by Buddhist monks (who deliberately destroy their intricate sand mandalas after creation), I washed the charcoal jaw away. What's left behind is a shark's silent scream.
