In 2019, I watched the bushfires in Australia from afar. At the time, I was separated from someone I loved who was living in Sydney. When I learned that the koalas were
too slow to run from the fires, it triggered all the emotions I had suppressed. One night I picked up a pencil and made this small koala drawing - the beginning of the vanishing murals. Fine art print of an original pencil drawing.
