"Moemoeā"

Moemoeā means dream or fantasy. My inspiration was a faded 70's photo of me wearing big pink curlers, and an old album filled with Hello Kitty stickers. Japanese anime and art were my escape as I dreamed of a life full of adventure. I imagined painting Hawaiian marine life to look like bubbles, so I could wear them in my hair like the curlers. As this NFT vanishes, our memories remain, and the seven starfish will reveal themselves as Makali'i (Pleiades Star Cluster) to light the way both backwards and forwards in time.
